Klingon Toy Drive
Despite express warnings in the Toy Drive rules many crewman found humor in donating “violent” toys (plastic Bat’leths, inactive toy phasers, etc.) to the drive. Ships company have been busy sorting through the storage containers on Deck 14 removing the contraband.
The original plan to come out of Warp directly into the atmosphere of Qo’noS for the toy drop was expressly denied by Starfleet command. Our backup strategy to beam the toys directly into Klingon homes from a position behind Praxis was accepted.
It has been decided this year that Tribbles will be donated to the children of the Klingon High Command to “soften things up.” Since they are harmless and considered a culinary delicacy on the Klingon agricultural planets, this was deemed acceptable by the Toy Drive committee.
